Ask a new question. Hi, my built in computer camera is not functional. I have gone to HPs websites to download nit recommended driver HP Universal Camera Driver sp however when downloaded it doesn’t show up under «imaging devices». No devices show yellow or need updating; the camera device hp camera driver for windows 10 64 bit not hidden.

I have looked over HP’s manuals and there is no kill switch for the camera on this machine. I do have Windows Virus and Threat protections running and turning it off does not impact my ability to work the webcam. I bought this computer caamera and never tried to use the webcam until recently so I don’t know how long this problem has been going on. This thread is locked.
